This section will take a look at property value data from 2004-2012 and relate it spatially to the Boston Metro Area and particularly to the transportation network. Below shows the average residential sale price for each census tract. I joined the data points for all single-family and condominium sales to the census tract layer and obtained an estimate of the average residential sale price. Moreover, the current median home price in Boston is around $370,000.
